President of the Republic tours the Region of Central Finland on November 8, 2000

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and her husband Pentti Arajärvi will visit the Region of Central Finland on Wednesday, November 8. In the morning the presidential couple will visit Nujula farm in Laukaa, after which they will go on to Äänekoski to visit the Metsä-Serla paper mill. In the afternoon they will visit the University of Jyväskylä and be informed about the operations and research projects of the Faculties of Sports and Health Sciences and Information Technology.
