Provincial
visit to Central Finland
The President of the Republic will go on a provincial
visit to Central Finland on Friday, April 9, 1999.
During the trip he will acquaint himself with the Antinkoti
sheltered home for the deaf and blind in Jyväskylä
and attend the seminar 'Aspects of Finnish Research
and Understanding' at the University of Jyväskylä.
He will also attend the opening of the exhibition of
maps on Finland in the University's Department of
History.
