dinner for the President of France
The President of the Republic and Mrs Eeva Ahtisaari
will entertain the President of France and Mrs
Bernadette Chirac to dinner in the Presidential
Palace on Monday, May 10, 1999, at 20.30.
In addition to the President and Mrs Ahtisaari and
their guests, the Speaker of Parliament, Riitta
Uosukainen; Prime Minister Paavo Lipponen; and French
Foreign Minister Hubert Védrine will also be seated
at the head of the table.

Terrine with arctic charr and cold-smoked grayling in
onion sauce
Reindeer calf crown and crowberry game sauce
Lingonberry & honey ice cream soufflé in
cloudberry liqueur sauce
During the dinner, the Guard's Band conducted by
Music Major Elias Seppälä will entertain the guests
with Finnish and French folk tunes, operatic music
and marches.
