The
President of the Republic will travel to Brazil
The President of the Republic will travel to Brazil
on Sunday, June 27, 1999 to attend the summit between
the European Union and the Latin American and
Caribbean countries in Rio de Janeiro on June 28 and
29, 1999.
The President will also hold bilateral meetings with
other heads of state attending the event.
President will be joined by the Secretary General to
the President of the Republic, Jaakko Kalela; first
Aide-de-Camp, Captain (Navy) Antero Karumaa and
Adviser, Raino Hassinen.
The President will return to Finland on the evening
of June 30, 1999.
