Changes will be made to the Aides-de-Camp of the President of the Republic from 1 October 2016. The current Second Aide-de-Camp, Lieutenant Colonel Petri Toivonen, has been appointed as the new First Aide-de-Camp.
The current First Aide-de-Camp of the President of the Republic, Commander Kaarle Wikström, has been appointed Commander of the 7th Surface Combat Flotilla of the Coastal Navy as of 1 October 2016. Wikström has served as an Aide-de-Camp to the President of the Republic since 2010.
The current Third Aide-de-Camp, Lieutenant Colonel Pasi Seppälä, has been assigned as the new Second Aide-de-Camp. The new Third Aide-de-Camp will be Lieutenant Commander Jan Brunberg of the Plans Division of the Navy Command Finland.
