President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö has sent his congratulations to Emmanuel Macron on his re-election as President of the French Republic.
In his letter, President Niinistö states that relations between Finland and France are excellent and thanks President Macron for his work for the unity and security of Europe.
After the results of the presidential election were announced, President Niinistö also congratulated President Macron on Twitter. “I am convinced that our bilateral, European and international cooperation will continue to deepen in the coming years”, President Niinistö said.
