President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö held discussions with the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Affairs at Mäntyniemi on Thursday, 15 September 2022. The meeting focused on, among other things, the war situation in Ukraine, the status of Finland’s NATO membership ratification, and visa matters concerning Russian tourists.
President Niinistö meets regularly with Parliamentary Committees to discuss current issues with them. The President last met with the Foreign Affairs Committee on 6 May 2022.
