President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met with chairs of parties represented in the Parliament on Wednesday 21 November 2023 at Mäntyniemi.
The meeting agenda included a discussion on the situation at the border. The participants expressed an unanimous view on the recent events and emphasised the need to remain calm but take decisive action.
The meeting was attended by chairs Petteri Orpo, Riikka Purra, Antti Lindtman, Annika Saarikko, Sofia Virta, Li Andersson, Anna-Maja Henriksson, Sari Essayah and Harry Harkimo.
President Niinistö last met with the party chairs in October 2023.
