President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met United States Senators and House of Representatives members in Kultaranta on Thursday, 7 July 2022.
The topics discussed at the meeting included support provided by the United States for Finland’s NATO accession and Russia’s attack against Ukraine. The meeting was attended by Republican Senators Roger F. Wicker and John Cornyn as well as House of Representatives members Joe Wilson, Robert Aderholt, John Garamendi, Richard Hudson, Ruben Gallego and August Pfluger.
