President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met with Governor of Minnesota Tim Walz at Mäntyniemi on Thursday, 18 November.
During the meeting, the President and the Governor discussed, among other things, relations between Finland and Minnesota, and climate change.
Governor Walz’s three-day visit is part of Finland’s new state-level cooperation with the United States. The goal is to advance cooperation and business between Finnish and American actors.
