President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met with Prime Minister of Sweden Magdalena Andersson at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday, 8 December 2021.
In addition to bilateral relations, the President and the Prime Minister discussed, among other things, the security situation in neighbouring areas and transatlantic cooperation.
For Prime Minister Andersson, this was the first foreign trip in her capacity as Prime Minister. During her visit, Prime Minister Andersson also met with Prime Minister Sanna Marin.
