President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met with Governor of the State of Washington Jay Inslee on Wednesday 14 September at the Presidential Palace.
The President and the Governor discussed the Russian invasion in Ukraine, cooperation between Finland and the State of Washington and the green transition.
Governor Inslee and his delegation visit Finland from 13 to 16 September 2022. The aim of the visit is to deepen industrial and research cooperation and to promote trade between Finland and the State of Washington. The visit is hosted by Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland Timo Harakka.
