President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö and the German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel had a telephone conversation on Friday 21 August 2020. President and the Chancellor had a detailed discussion both on the prevailing situation in Belarus and on the Alexei Navalny case.
