President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö had a phone call with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Thursday, 28 April 2022.
President Niinistö and Secretary General Stoltenberg reviewed the current situation in Finland’s NATO debate. “Secretary General Stoltenberg again gave his strong support to Finland’s decision and shed light on NATO’s order of business. We also agreed to meet soon”, said President Niinistö.
President Niinistö and Secretary General Stoltenberg also discussed the NATO summit to be held in Madrid in June.
