President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö held discussions with the Parliamentary Committee for the Future on Tuesday, 10 May 2022. The remote meeting focused on the Government report on changes in the security environment and strengthening of Finland’s security.
President Niinistö meets regularly with Parliamentary Committees to discuss current issues with them. Last week, the President discussed strengthening of Finland’s security with the Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Affairs. The President last met with the Parliamentary Committee for the Future on 22 November 2018.
