President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö discussed with the Parliamentary Grand Committee on Thursday, 12 May 2022. The topics of the remote meeting included the European security situation and strengthening of Finland’s security.
President Niinistö meets regularly with Parliamentary Committees to discuss current issues with them. This week, the President also discussed strengthening of Finland’s security with the Parliamentary Committee for the Future. The President last met with the Parliamentary Grand Committee on 29 April 2021.
