President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö had a phone call with Prime Minister of Sweden Magdalena Andersson on Thursday, 6 January 2022.
The main topic of the discussion was European security situation, about which both expressed their worry. President Niinistö stated that NATO’s Open Door policy is important, and its continuance has been confirmed.
