President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö launched this year's Common Responsibility Fundraising Campaign on Sunday, 7 February.

This year, the proceeds of the fundraising will be used to help the most economically disadvantaged elderly people, both in Finland and throughout the world. Part of the proceeds will be directed to education that promotes digital skills of the elderly.

The Common Responsibility Campaign is the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Finland’s annual fundraising drive, in which of all of the congregations of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church participate. The President of the Republic of Finland is the patron of the Campaign.
