On Monday, 17 October, President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö visited the Night of the Homeless event on the Kansalaistori square in Helsinki. The President gave the opening remarks at the event, expressing his support to the objectives and measures for eliminating homelessness in Finland.
“I am convinced of one thing. In times like these, we must not forget anyone. Let us hold on to this,” President Niinistö said in his remarks.
The previous time the President of the Republic of Finland visited the Night of the Homeless event was in 2015.
