The Ministry for Foreign Affairs personnel on site and the Defence Forces protection force, the entire evacuation team, did an excellent job and deserve our thanks. They worked for as long as was possible in the security conditions. It is unfortunate that some of the evacuees were prevented from making contact with those sent to assistant them. For them, other options need to be considered.
