President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö appointed MScEcon Aliisa Tornberg as Foreign Affairs Adviser.

Tornberg transfers to the position from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. She currently acts as First Secretary at the Embassy of Finland in Berlin.

Tornberg will take up her position as Adviser to the President of the Republic and Member of the Presidential Cabinet on 1 August 2021. Petri Hakkarainen continues as the Director of Foreign and Security Policy and Member of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Finland.
