President Martti Ahtisaari has been tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. His spouse, Mrs. Eeva Ahtisaari, was diagnosed with the same virus three days ago on 21 March. President Ahtisaari is doing well under the circumstances.
We ask the media to respect the privacy of President and Mrs. Ahtisaari, an update will be provided in due course.
