President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss Russia’s attack on Ukraine, report on the current security environment and EU Strategic Compass

In their meeting on Friday 18 March, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed Russia’s attack on Ukraine and the security situation in Europe.

The President and the Committee discussed the implementation of the civilian and military intelligence priorities set for 2021.

The meeting also included a discussion on preparations for the report on the current security environment.

In addition, the President and the Ministerial Committee discussed the EU Strategic Compass, which focuses in particular on developing the EU’s crisis management, resilience, capabilities and partnerships.
