President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö has tested positive for a COVID-19 virus on Tuesday, 19 April. Despite the infection, President Niinistö is well and continuing to work remotely.
Due to the virus, President Niinistö’s official visit to Norway on 21–22 April and the President’s and the Minister of Education’s question session with pupils on 20 April will be postponed to another time.
