President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will attend the NATO Summit to be held on 8 to 9 July in Warsaw.
President Niinistö has been invited to a working dinner with heads of state to be held on Friday evening, as well as a meeting on Saturday on Afghanistan’s Resolute Support Mission. In addition to Finland, leaders from Sweden and EU institutions will participate in the NATO dinner. President Niinistö’s programme will also include bilateral meetings.
The Finnish delegation will include Minister for Foreign Affairs Timo Soini, Minister of Defence Jussi Niinistö, and Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces General Jarmo Lindberg.
