President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will make an official visit to China on 6–10 April 2013. During this visit, President Niinistö will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, who took office today, on 14 March.
The visit will begin with President Niinistö attending the high-level Boao Forum for Asia on Hainan. From Hainan, President Niinistö will travel to Beijing to meet with other Chinese political leaders.
The President’s entourage in Beijing will include Alexander Stubb, Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade, and a delegation of business leaders.
