President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and spouse will make an official visit to France on 9–11 July 2013. The president will hold talks with President Francois Hollande at the Élysée Palace on Wednesday, 10 July. Discussion topics will include bilateral relations between Finland and France, the financial situation in Europe and current international affairs.
While in Paris President Niinistö will meet French prime minister Jean-Marc Ayrault and other of the country’s political leaders. The programme also includes a visit to a Mission Locale, a support and advice centre for young people of 16–25 years who are no longer part of the education system.
