President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will be taking part in a summit meeting between NATO and ISAF partner countries in Newport, Wales on 4-5 September 2014. He will be leading the Finnish delegation, with Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja and Minister of Defence Carl Haglund as vice chairmen.
President Niinistö will take part in the meeting on Afghanistan and attend the reception for heads of state and government of NATO and partner countries.
