President Niinistö to official visit to Estonia

President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and his spouse will be travelling to Estonia on an official visit on Wednesday 25 April.

President Niinistö will be having bilateral discussions with the President of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves, at the Presidential Palace in Kadriorg. He will also be meeting Ene Ergma, Speaker of the Estonian Parliament, and Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.

During the visit, President Niinistö will inaugurate a plant where the Finnish company Lappset will be manufacturing playground equipment in the municipality of Saku near Tallinn. The visit will conclude with a reception at the Finnish Embassy in Tallinn.

The President’s spouse, Mrs Jenni Haukio, will have her own programme for part of the visit: she will visit Kumu Art Museum and the Finnish School in Tallinn.
