The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, will be making a working visit to Finland on 23–25 October 2012.
President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will receive President Rahmon at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday 24 October. The two presidents will have an official discussion, after which President Niinistö will host lunch.
The agenda for the discussion includes bilateral relations between Finland and Tajikistan, economic cooperation and current international issues. A tax agreement between the two countries will also be signed during the visit.
During this working visit, President Rahmon will also be meeting Speaker of Parliament Eero Heinäluoma and Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen.
