President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will promote graduating cadets to the rank of Lieutenant at a ceremony on Thursday 28 August 2014. President of the Republic will make a speech to the cadets and appoint them to positions in the Defence Forces and Frontier Guard. The President will also greet graduating masters of military science. The ceremonies will be held at the Helsinki City Hall.
