President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö will promote graduating cadets to the rank of Lieutenant at a ceremony at the Presidential Palace on Thursday 30 August 2012. President of the Republic will make a speech to the cadets and appoint them to positions in the Defence Forces and Frontier Guard.
