Message of condolences from President of the Republic Tarja Halonen following the earthquake in Chile 28 February 2010

President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen has sent a message of condolences to President Michelle Bachelet following the earthquake in Chile. In her telegram President Halonen said that she is deeply saddened by the news of the massive earthquake, which caused loss of lives and left many victims seriously injured. President Halonen expressed sincere condolences on behalf of the people of Finland and on her own behalf to the families of the victims and to all those who are touched by this tragedy.
