President of Kazakhstan to make state visit to Finland

President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan will arrive in Finland for a state visit on 23-25 March 2009.

President Nazarbayev will arrive in Finland on Monday, 23 March. The reception ceremony and official talks with President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will take place at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, 24 March. On the same day President Nazarbayev will also meet with Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, visit Parliament and give a talk at the Paasikivi Society.

On Wednesday, 25 March President Nazarbayev will meet with representatives of the Confederation of Finnish Industries and learn more about high-tech companies and Finland's innovation policy in Otaniemi.
