President appointed new government

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen appointed Finland's 68th government headed by prime minister Anneli Jäättenmäki on Thursday 17.4.2003. After the appointment and the first plenary session of the new government, both the outgoing government and the incoming one visited the Presidential Palace to pay their respects.
