President of Croatia to make state visit to Finland

President of Croatia Ivo Josipović and spouse will make a state visit to Finland on 23-25 May 2011. The reception ceremony and official talks with President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will take place at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, 24 May.

President Josipović will also meet the Speaker of the Parliament and the Prime Minister. He will deliver a speech at Helsinki University and familiarise himself with Sibelius Academy and the newly built Helsinki Music Centre. He will also visit Turku, the European Capital of Culture.

President Halonen made an official visit to Croatia in September 2009.
