President and Prime Minister agreed on investigation concerning letter sent by Simon Wiesenthal Centre

Today, 19 November 2003, President Tarja Halonen has discussed with Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen a letter sent by the Simon Wiesenthal Centre concerning persons who were deported to Germany by Finland during the Second World War. The President and the Prime Minister have agreed that the Government will investigate the matter.
