President of the Republic meeting religious leaders

President Tarja Halonen will meet representatives of several religious communities at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday 26 September 2001. The theme of the meeting will be tolerance. The participants will be Archbishop Jukka Paarma of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Archbishop Johannes (John) of the Orthodox Church, Bishop Jósef Wróbel of the Catholic Church, General Secretary Jan Edström of the Ecumenical Council of Finland, President Gideon Bolotowsky of the Jewish Congregation, Imam Khodr Chehab of the Islamic Community and President Okan Daher of the Finnish Tatar Islamic Community.
