President Halonen to open Saami Parliament

Office of the President of the Republic of Finland Press Release 2 April 2004

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will attend the opening of the Saami Parliament in Hetta, Enontekiö on Thursday 8 April 2004. She will declare the four-year (2004-07) session of the assembly open after a festive service in Hetta Church.
