President Halonen to make official visit to Estonia

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Doctor Pentti Arajärvi will make an official visit to Estonia on 9-10 September 2003. On the first day of the visit President Halonen will have discussions with President Arnold Rüütel in addition to meeting Prime Minister Juhan Parts and Speaker of Parliament Ene Ergman.

The second day will be spent in Tartu. The programme there includes visits to the City Hall and the university, where President Halonen will make a speech.

The party accompanying the President will include Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja.
