President of the Republic in Germany 1 - 3 October 2000

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will be in Germany from 1 to 3.10.2000 to take part in the celebrations marking the tenth anniversary of reunification. On Monday 2.10 she will give a speech at a ceremony in Konzerthaus Berlin. She will also be meeting representatives of the city government. On Tuesday 3.10 she will be in Dresden for the main ceremony marking the anniversary.

The President will fly to Germany direct from Australia, which she is now visiting.
