President Halonen to attend WTO Public Forum in Geneva

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will travel to Geneva, Switzerland on 3-4 October 2007 to attend the WTO Public Forum. President Halonen will give the keynote speech at a session focusing on global governance.

In Geneva President Halonen will also meet with former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, WTO Director-General Pascal Lamy, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour, ILO Director-General Juan Somavia and UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres.
