President of the Republic of Korea on state visit in Finland

President of the Republic of Korea Roh Moo-hyun is on a state visit in Finland together with his spouse on 7 – 8 September 2006. President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen received President Roh Moo-hyun in the Presidential Palace on Thursday 7 September. President Roh Moo-hyun also met Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen and laid a wreath on the heroes’ graves in Hietaniemi Cemetery.

The program will also include a conference of the Korea-Finland Economic Council at the Finlandia Hall. President Roh Moo-hyun will also attend the Asia-Europe Meeting, ASEM, in Helsinki, and visit the Parliament.
