President Halonen to attend the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII in Moscow

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Dr Pentti Arajärvi are to join in the celebrations in Moscow to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War on Monday 9 May 2005. They will watch the parade in Red Square, lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and attend an official reception hosted by President Vladimir Putin.
