President of Slovenia to make state visit to Finland

President Danilo Türk of Slovenia with spouse will arrive in Finland for a state visit on 8-10 March 2010.

The reception ceremony and official talks with President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will take place at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday, 9 March. On the same day President Türk will also participate in a Finnish-Slovenian Business Forum, visit Parliament and give a lecture at the Paasikivi Society.

On Wednesday, 10 March, President Türk will meet with Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen and lay a wreath at Hietaniemi Cemetary.
