Message of condolences by the President of the Republic Tarja Halonen to President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt due to the bomb explosions in Sharm-el-Sheikh on 23 July 2005

Mr President,

It is with profound sadness that we have received the news of the fatal bomb attacks in Sharm al-Sheikh, where precious human lives were lost and many seriously injured.

Finland condemns terrorism in all its forms. On behalf of the people of Finland and on my own behalf, I express my most sincere condolences to Your Excellency, to the families of the victims and to all those who are touched by this tragedy.
