State visit to Iceland

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Committee Counsellor Pertti Arajärvi will make a state visit to Iceland, at the invitation of President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, on 19-21 September 2000. The programme for the visit includes political discussions with President Grímsson and Prime Minister David Oddsson as well as a lecture by President Halonen at the University of Akureyri.
