Presidentti Halonen at European Council

President of the Republic of Finland Tarja Halonen attended the meeting of the European Council in Brussels on 15 December 2005. President Halonen took part in the meeting’s first session concerning Foreign and Security Policy.

She also met President of the European Parliament Josep Borrell and attended a dinner for the heads of state. The meeting of European Council continued on 16 December.
