President Halonen to visit New York and Florida

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Dr. Pentti Arajärvi will be in the United States from 11 to 15 February 2004.

Their first destination is New York, where President Halonen will meet UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and General Assembly President Julian Robert Hunte.

From New York the President and Dr. Arajärvi will continue to Lake Worth in Florida to attend the FinnFest 2004 event arranged by Finnish expatriates in the United States.
