President of the Republic visits Aachen, Germany

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will attend the annual International Charlemagne Prize award ceremony in Aachen, Germany, on June 1-2, 2000. This year the prize goes to President Bill Clinton. President Tarja Halonen has been a member of the committee which selects the Charlemagne prize winners since 1998.
